Questions and answers

No. Pass15 is an independent study tool. We are not part of, or endorsed by, IRCC or the Government of Canada. The only official study guide is Discover Canada, which is free on canada.ca. We built Pass15 to help you practise it.

Every question is written from the official study guide, Discover Canada. After you answer, we show the chapter, section and page the answer comes from, with a link to the guide, so you can check it yourself.

Our mock exams follow the official format: 20 questions, multiple choice or true/false, 45 minutes, and you need 15 right to pass. We don't use the real test questions; nobody outside the government has them.

5 full 20-question practice tests, a printable set of their questions and answers, a 10-question quiz for every chapter of the guide, and a quiz for every province and territory. No account needed.

Every question in our bank, unlimited timed mock exams with no repeats until you've seen every question, weak-spot drills and flashcards that bring back what you got wrong, a key-dates timeline, a guide to who does what in government, audio read-aloud, and a readiness score. It's a one-time payment of $29 (or $45 for two people), with no subscription.

If you fail the official citizenship test after studying with Pass15, email us within 12 months of buying, with a screenshot or printout of your result page, and we refund you in full. That's the whole policy: no rules about how many lessons or exams you finished first.

No password, ever. When you buy, we email you a sign-in link. To sign in on another phone or computer, enter your email and we send a new link.

The Household plan ($45) gives two people their own sign-in and their own progress. Many couples apply and take the test together.

Yes. Pass15 works on any phone, tablet or computer. Note that the real online test must be taken on a computer or tablet with a webcam, not a phone.

Pass15 is in English today, and French is coming next. The real test is given only in English or French. Tell us which language would help you most (there is a quick poll on your study plan page) and we will add the most-requested ones as a side-by-side translation.

Every question is tied to the edition of the guide it was checked against. If a new guide is released, we re-check every question against it, retire anything that no longer applies, and tell you on the site.
